Based on Quentin Tarantino's celebrated film, this game fills in the gaps the movie only alludes to — including the jewelry store heist itself. Across the story you take control of all seven principal characters, from Mr. Blonde to Mr. White. Missions open with in-engine cutscenes that often restage moments from the film; the first, for instance, shows Mr. Pink delivering his famous "I don't think we got set up, I know we got set up!" rant before you take over as Mr. Blue, fighting to escape the jewelry store alive as police close in. How you get out is up to you: go in like a psychopath and shoot your way clear, or take a quieter route that harms no one — for example, seizing a hostage and forcing the officers to drop their weapons and face the wall. A few missions put you behind the wheel, but most are played on foot. As in the Hitman series, each mission ends with a rating of how well you performed.
