Uwasa no Midori-kun!! Natsu Iro Striker

Yamate Midori is fifteen and unmistakably a tomboy. A boy named Hino Tsukasa comes to her island for a holiday and, in the time they spend together, teaches her to play soccer. She falls in love with the sport completely and keeps playing after he leaves, telling herself it is because she wants to be ready if they ever cross paths again.
