Shikanosuke Maejima is coasting through life at Oubi Academy — skipping club, putting in minimal effort at school, showing up reliably only for his part-time job — when a chance meeting with the peculiar Kirari Shiino pulls him into a punk band. The band: Shikanosuke, Kirari, childhood friend Chie Isurugi, and the delicate rich girl Sarina Kashiwara, all nominally part of the dying Second Literature Club. Their Culture Festival debut should have been the end of it. A viral recording changes everything: requests pour in, exams loom, parents object. The four of them pile into a rickety van and head out on a last tour of Japan.
