July 23, 1998. STARS Bravo team is dispatched to the Arklay Mountains outside Raccoon City to investigate a series of brutal killings. Their helicopter malfunctions and crash-lands in the forest before they reach the scene. The team discovers an overturned military police transport and two mutilated officers nearby. Bravo team medic Rebecca Chambers splits off from the group and finds the Ecliptic Express—a luxury train stopped in the middle of the wilderness, overrun with zombies.
