Journey through the undiscovered jungles of South America, in Up the video game. This version of the game is a much looser adaptation, in which Carl and Russell take longer detours through the jungle to attempt to reach the end of Paradise Falls. These versions also exclusively feature side areas that cannot be accessed the first time around without acquiring a certain tool, as well as fast-moving linear levels (namely on-rails chase sequences played from a reverse angle or river canoeing courses), where players cannot backtrack and must carefully avoid accidents that instantly require a restart from a checkpoint.

About This Game

Elderly widower Carl Fredricksen fulfills his late wife Ellie's lifelong dream by tying thousands of balloons to their house and lifting it into the sky. He is not alone for long — eight-year-old Wilderness Explorer Russell was on the porch when it took off. The two float to South America, where they encounter talking dogs, an enormous rare bird, and Carl's childhood hero turned adversary. The PS3/Wii/360 versions follow the film's eleven levels closely; PC/Mac/PS2/PSP versions are a looser adaptation with more than twenty levels as Carl and Russell take longer detours through the jungle.
