In a future where machines won the war and humanity hides in ruins, Nanami's quiet life with her sister and childhood friends collapses on her birthday when robots attack the village and take her sister. She blames herself for being away. A robot named Kagome appears and offers her the one thing she keeps wishing for: the ability to go back. Nanami and Kagome travel through time together, trying to turn the outcome of despair into something worth having.
