Steins;Gate is a Japanese visual novel developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus. It is the second game in the Science Adventure series following Chaos;Head. The game is described by the development team as a "hypothetical science ADV" and explores time and time travel in 2010 Akihabara. About This Game
Set in Tokyo's Akihabara district, Steins;Gate follows a group of friends who have rigged their microwave into a device capable of sending text messages into the past. But as their experiments deepen, a powerful organization called SERN — secretly conducting its own time-travel research — tracks them down, and the friends must find a way to stay one step ahead and avoid being captured.
