About This Game

Bayonetta is a witch who awoke twenty years ago from a coffin at the bottom of a secluded lake, with no memory of her past. Determined to uncover the truth of who she once was, she journeys to the holy European city of Vigrid — ancestral home of the light-worshipping Lumen Sages and the darkness-following Umbra Witches. Pitted against a seemingly endless host of angels, including a rival Umbra Witch named Jeanne, she follows a mysterious voice with the help of the smooth-talking journalist Luka Redgrave and a young, innocent girl called Cereza, whose strange appearance may hold the key to Bayonetta's lost memories.
