The Prince of Darkness is gone — no announcement, no succession, no designated heir. The Infernal Throne sits empty in Pandemonium, and the Powers and Potentates of Hell have been summoned to decide who should occupy it. The means of selection is what Hell has always used: competition, ambition, and the willingness to outlast everyone else in the room. The player is one of the contenders.
