Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the PSP is a side-scrolling 2.5D platformer. It has a different storyline involving freeing the Sisters of Time, a different setting and antagonist. It was developed by the same team that developed the Wii Version and hence has the same artstyle.

About This Game
A prophecy marks a member of the Persian royal line as the one destined to end the dark reign of Ahihud, an evil fire spirit whose minions have hunted royalty for generations. The Prince escapes the tower where he has been protected and follows a guiding light — revealed to be Helem, a Spirit of Time — to a hidden kingdom built where the first god created the universe. With the Elixir powering Ahihud's growing strength, the Prince must free the Sisters of Time and ultimately destroy Ahihud in his own spiritual domain to fulfill the ancient prophecy.
