Miley Verisse has a goal: start a comedy club at her school before spring break ends and April arrives. The problem is structural. Club rules require a minimum of five members, and Miley currently has two. Her rival, Octavia Richmond—head of the student council and deeply opposed to a comedy club existing at all—will use every procedural tool available to her to ensure the club never reaches that number.
