Asagi Haru quits her factory job when her father falls ill and immediately finds herself applying on the spot for a maid position with the prestigious Miyanomori family in Tokyo. What she finds: six brothers, each born of a different mother, all divorced from the patriarch Miyanomori Genichirou as part of what she gradually realizes is a deliberate design. When Genichirou announces he is retiring and will name whichever son accumulates ten points of his satisfaction by March as the next family head, the household transforms from merely unpleasant into openly competitive. Haru is in the middle of all of it.
