About This Game

Doctor Eggman has opened an amusement park in space — Dr. Eggman's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park — and is inviting the world to enjoy it. Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails are not buying the goodwill tour. They investigate and find the park built around enslaved Wisps, a race of alien beings whose energy Eggman is harvesting to power a mind-control laser aimed at Earth. Sonic races through the park's planet-sized attractions, freeing Wisps and shutting down the generators that power Eggman's weapon. When the cannon misfires during Eggman's attempt to fire it, the park begins to come apart. Sonic confronts Eggman directly, defeats his Nega-Wisp-powered final mech, and is carried safely back to Earth by the Wisps he freed. The epilogue brings one more fight: the Mother Wisp, infected by the negative energy generated throughout the park, must be defeated in Super Sonic form before she can be restored. With the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic makes it happen — and the Wisps go home.
