In Yuidora, the workshop city of the Mikelti Kingdom, a young orphan named Wilfred has just earned his alchemist's license. Before he can settle into the work, he ends up entangled with three young women — all with different personalities and very different goals — and agrees to take them on as bodyguards so they can help each other. What follows is daily life as an alchemist, with an ever-growing circle of allies, gradually tracing the footsteps of his parents.
