One day, Haruna was going to move away and wanted to say goodbye to him.
However, he despaired that he was never able to protect her once in the end.

Yamato's lifelong goal is to be a hero — but the results have always been the same: he tries to defend his childhood friend Haruna from bullies and ends up beaten instead. When Haruna announces she is moving away, Yamato is devastated. He never once managed to protect her. He meets a figure called the Memory Collector, who grants wishes in exchange for memories. Yamato wishes to become Stryker — the hero from his favorite manga — and pays with his past. Years later, the Balbora Empire — people with supernatural powers — invades the city where Haruna lives. Police and military are powerless. Then a figure in a familiar suit appears and ends it with a single kick. He is Dengeki Stryker.
