Tsukiko returns to Seigatsu Gakuen years later as a trainee teacher on a three-month placement. The faces are familiar: her old homeroom teacher Naoshi is still here, Kotarou now works as the school doctor, and Iku has just qualified as a teacher himself. The roles have changed. The school remains the same.
