While spending her work bonus on a trip overseas, the player character's luggage is stolen. The thief drops something far more valuable — a jeweled bracelet worth more than anything that was taken. When she turns it in at the police station, she is brought immediately before the king. The bracelet, he explains, marks whoever holds it as the rightful ruler. That is not a responsibility she is prepared for. He offers an alternative: choose one of his sons to take the bracelet and become king instead. They are all very handsome.
