Guardian Heroes

A supreme being shaped the universe in order to find warriors worthy of serving as its personal guard. Two factions — Earth Spirits and Sky Spirits — emerged and waged a savage war. The Sky Spirits enlisted humans as soldiers, granting them enormous magical power. After the Earth Spirits were sealed away in darkness, the Sky Spirits grew afraid of what they had made and exiled humanity alongside their former enemies. Finding no magic to call on, humans turned to the sword instead. The Time of the Sword had begun.
