Rumor has it that standing at the right station with the right ticket summons a train to carry you to your heart's desire. The protagonist visits a platform scarred by a string of suicides—not expecting anything—when a ringing in his ears silences the crowd and drains the world of color. Before he can make sense of it, the train is already there, someone shoves him aboard, and it begins to move, leaving only a note behind on the now-empty platform.
