Baldr Sky "Zero"

Edward awakens in a virtual combat zone with no memory of his own name, fighting alongside a simulacrum piloted by a girl named Sakura against a swarm of virus-type enemies. Back in the real world—the Southeast Asia State, where survival means piloting a simulacrum—he joins Sakura's squad in the Fenrir mercenary unit and starts piecing together a past he cannot yet recall.
