The year is 1931, and the Antarctic continent remains one of science's final frontiers. Miskatonic University has launched an expedition led by William Dyer to excavate fossils and find hard evidence for long-debated scientific theories about the land. The team made landfall on an island in the Antarctic region — and then contact went silent, the supply ship returning to an abandoned base camp. Gripped by dread and receiving no support from the university, you mount a rogue rescue mission on your own, making your way to Australia and finding a fishing boat willing to drop you at the site and return in two days. What happened to the team is a mystery. What you find may be worse than any explanation you have imagined.
