Rio has two childhood friends: Kashii Reon and his older brother Aki. After an incident she does not speak about, she and Reon became estranged. Now she is in her second year of high school, trying not to think about it. One day her upperclassman Kuon—Aki's close friend—brings her to a studio. There she learns that Reon, Aki, and Kuon have formed a band together. Their bassist has just quit. Rio finds herself in the middle of something she did not go looking for.
