Christopher Raven operates in the margins of the Caribbean world—between the rival colonial powers of the Old World, mysterious indigenous tribes, buccaneers, and cutthroats who owe loyalty to no flag. His family was killed and the grief has worn away his moral compass entirely. A routine sea voyage pulls him into something much darker, sending ripples across the whole Caribbean as he fights his way through a conflict he didn't choose, looking for purpose in a world he can no longer navigate by anything except violence.
