When her father falls ill, Asagi Haru leaves the factory and starts looking for new employment. A chance encounter with Egawa Chitomi and Arita Kisuke—recruiters for the Miyanomori family—lands her a job as a maid in their Tokyo mansion. The six Miyanomori brothers all have different mothers; each was divorced by their father Genichirou, who wanted to pit the sons against each other for the position of family head. Before long, Genichirou announces that he is retiring and will award leadership to whichever son earns ten points by entertaining him before March. Haru has walked into the middle of a carefully constructed rivalry, and none of the brothers are happy about an outsider witnessing it.
