Claudius is a knight serving a kingdom on the fictional world of Allacrost—a world that blends a medieval setting with an age of exploration. When demonic beings assault his country without explanation, his king sends Claudius on a mission: search the world for a hero spoken of in legend, one who may hold the key to restoring peace. Claudius and the companions he gathers along the way must piece together the clues embedded in the legend while simultaneously investigating the origins of the demons that continue attacking civilizations seemingly at random.
