Ray Gigant

Earth's major cities are in ruins. The Gigants—massive, terrifying creatures—appeared without warning and proved immune to every weapon the world's militaries could bring to bear. Then a boy named Ichiya Amakaze did the impossible: he destroyed a Gigant using a strange, poorly understood power called the Yorigami. The victory was real, but it cost everything.
