Broforce

An irreverent side-scrolling shooter, Broforce puts players in command of an elite paramilitary unit composed entirely of exaggerated caricatures inspired by beloved action-movie archetypes—a Rambo-esque jungle fighter, a John McClane-style barefoot operative, and tributes to Chuck Norris, Mr. T, and the acid-blooded warrior from Alien, among others. Deployed across hostile terrain ranging from dense jungles to fortified enemy compounds, these hypermasculine commandos blast through fully destructible landscapes, liberating imprisoned soldiers and fellow operatives while leaving a trail of explosive devastation in their wake. Each rescued prisoner expands the available roster, granting access to new fighters who inherit the signature weapons and techniques of their cinematic predecessors. The campaign escalates from grounded military incursions into increasingly absurd and spectacular set pieces, maintaining a relentless homage to the excess and spectacle of 1980s and 1990s action blockbusters.
