About This Game

Two Kaxinawá twins—a young hunter and a young artisan—were conceived in dreams by the anaconda Yube and inherited his powers. Their journey through the game is the process of becoming: the hunter toward the role of healer (Mukaya), the artisan toward mastery of kene, the sacred graphic patterns of their people. Along the way they receive knowledge from ancestors, animals, plants, and forest spirits (yuxin), moving toward what it means to be truly human—Huni Kuin. The game was developed collaboratively with Kaxinawá storytellers, designers, and singers as an act of cultural transmission through the medium of video games.
