Others became enemies. Wars were fought. Since then humanity has gone through the crucible, the last government known as the I.E.R. has fallen leaving only corporations like the U.S.C. to rule the planets of man.

A strange signal leads to a derelict spaceship drifting abandoned in space. Claiming it leads to a crew, and the crew leads to the life the player always wanted: captaining a ship in the vastness of space. Starlight Drifter is a sci-fi RPG structured primarily as a visual novel with open-world elements, in which the captain takes on missions, builds relationships with crew members—some of which may become intimate—and shapes how their name is remembered across the universe.
