Beast and Princess

In the Veke Kingdom, a princess born of the king's late concubine has been locked in a castle tower for reasons no one will explain. When the king and queen die and his younger brother orders the princess to take her own life, her beloved animals rise to defend her, and they flee together into the deep forest. The only thing she carries is her mother's memento: a small bag containing a book. Open it in a truly desperate moment, her father once told her. She opens it.
