Dr. Eggman has struck ragnium — a supercharged fuel source beneath Ragna Rock island — and is weaponizing its volatile by-products to split nearby islands into fire and ice zones. His real agenda: power ultra-fast robot racers to publicly humiliate Sonic, with his enforcer D-Fekt backing the operation. Sonic and friends must reclaim every affected island, defeat its guardian, and win the rival races to shut it all down — before Eggman's creation spirals beyond even his control.
