Soldiers of Heaven VR

An embedded journalist has been assigned to travel with a US Army special forces unit into Iraq during the Ashura festival. Their mission: stop a religious cult calling itself the Soldiers of Heaven, which has attempted to trigger a Muslim apocalypse in the chaos of the holiday. More than three hundred people have already died. The story of those deaths has been suppressed. The journalist's job is to document what actually happened—using a VR camera to film their own version of events—while the soldiers around them fight to contain what is already in motion.
