Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet

Gensokyo exists somewhere in Japan, separated from the outside world by the Great Hakurei Barrier. Below its surface lies the underground world of Hell; above it, a celestial Heaven. The land shelters both humans and yokai — rarely peacefully. To manage the constant conflicts, Gensokyo has codified combat into the Spell Card Rules, also known as Playing Danmaku, which allows humans and yokai to contest disputes fairly without annihilation. Under these rules, yokai cause incidents constantly, humans resolve them daily, and the resulting battles form the fabric of ordinary life in Gensokyo — where Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet takes place.
