In a world that once ran on simple logic—strength determined everything, monsters threatened, heroes fought, might established order—things have fundamentally changed. Capitalism happened. Now money is the absolute measure of power, justice, and even love: a Level 1 peasant with enough funds can defeat a tyrant simply by hiring the muscle to do it.
