Scenes from the Heart

A mature but lonely boy struggles to connect with others because of his superiority complex — until he befriends Chisaki Namichi, who faces bullying for her unusual eye color. Together they meet Konaka Motomi, a transfer student with her own quirks, and the three are drawn into the world of improvisation theater. Inspired, Chisaki proposes a long-dreamed visual novel development project, pulling in both friends as collaborators. Despite friction during the process, they succeed and win an award for their demo — while a menacing shadow watches from nearby.
