Vikings: an Archer's Journey

Nott is a Valkyrie with a short temper, a formidable bow, and a wolf named Oder who is her constant companion. When she angers the Viking gods, their punishment is precise: Oder is sent to Helheim. Nott descends after him into the cold and misty realm of the dead, collecting special arrow types along the way to deal with the monsters drawn from Nordic myth who defend it. The fallen Viking warriors she encounters in Helheim will help her reach Oder—in exchange for a way out, once she succeeds.
