Akira is the only member of the classical literature club, which is three recruits away from being shut down. Student council president Hotori tells him she has a solution and to meet her in the club room. He arrives to find four girls—none of whom have any interest in joining his club. They are there to take the room after the club folds. Hotori's proposal: convince them to join the literature club before it is dissolved. He has until the deadline. The girls have already decided the answer is no.
