The global crime rate has exceeded anything conventional law enforcement can address. S.W.A.T. veteran J.J. Colt's response is to build something new: the World Army, a force with no national affiliation and no political agenda, designed purely to eliminate threats wherever they appear. He is joined by his longtime friend Nathan "Rocket" Nace, an explosives specialist and engineer; Samantha Byington, a decorated competitive martial artist; and Marco Tundo, a ninja with a past he has not fully disclosed. Recruits from around the world follow—some veterans, some civilians who have never fought at all. They are making progress toward their goal. They do not yet know what is being built against them in the background.
