The Butterfly Sign: Human Error

The second chapter of The Butterfly Sign finds the protagonist still the sole survivor of a serious terrorist attack — and still the only witness to what actually happened. To access memories precise enough to matter, he takes an experimental drug called Rammex, which pulls him into a reconstruction of his own mind. Wandering through that internal landscape, he searches for the chain of events that led to the attack, gathering evidence and tracing connections toward whoever is responsible.
