When the PNA Death Droids began their advance, the allied forces had no answer. Millions died in the opening weeks. The Mech Skeleton program was the desperate response: a weapon reverse-engineered from intelligence gathered off a captured PNA scientist, capable of giving allied soldiers the superhuman capability needed to push back. For a time it worked—the PNA were crippled, Mech Skeleton pilots became feared across every front. But something has changed. Command is calling the recent behavior a glitch. It is not a glitch. The technology behind the Mech Skeleton program has become something that cannot be trusted, and the pilots still inside the machines may not yet know it.
