About This Game

The DLC unlocks three previously inaccessible elevator shafts found throughout the base game, each containing a distinct arena with its own challenges. Access requires completing a quest called Mysterious Letter. Finishing all three arenas triggers a final quest—Mysterious Invitation—directing players to investigate a newly opened elevator at the Amusement Park. Interacting with a television inside replays the memories of Plato 1728, capped by a music video from Japanese rock band Amazarashi serving as the DLC's ending credits. After the video, players return to the arenas and unlock additional high-difficulty challenge tiers. The DLC's most unusual offering: a boss fight against both Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda and Platinum Games head Kenichi Sato, unlocked by persistently requesting a fight from the Resistance Secretary inside the Colosseum arena in the Flooded City.
