Contra Returns brings back Bill Rizer and Lance Bean in an HD update of the classic series: side-scrolling levels, two-person co-op teams, alien bosses, and the iconic settings and soundtrack all return in high definition with 3D character models and reworked visual and audio effects. The game adds real-time PvP battles, a roster of unique heroes, companions, and a team mode, modernizing the formula without abandoning what the original games got right.
