Essence Hunt

Shugo was hunting and ignored his village's rules about the sacred ground. He killed a deer there. The nature spirit Asha responded with a curse: return the deer's soul within three days or die. Returning a soul is not a skill that humans typically have. A fox spirit named Kei has offered to help—though the fox's motivations are not entirely clear. A visual novel about a deadline, a moral debt, and whether the help you have been given is what it appears to be.
