Symphonic Rain

In Piova, the city of music and perpetual rain, young people arrive from across the country to study at the Communal School of Music and pursue careers in an art form the city takes seriously. Chris Vertin left his hometown and his girlfriend to train as a Fortenist—a master of the Fortelle, a magical musical instrument. Graduation is approaching and his final examination requires performing an original piece alongside a vocal partner. Chris hasn't found one. He's been spending his days in his room, reading letters from his girlfriend and talking to the 14-centimeter musical fairy who lives there. Symphonic Rain is a visual novel with rhythm game segments embedded in each route, one for each of the potential partners Chris might perform with.
