Libra of the Vampire Princess: Lycoris & Aoi in The Promise Plus Iris in Homeworld

Two stories set in the Libra of the Vampire Princess universe. "The Promise" looks back in time to how Lycoris—once a skilled agent of the Rubina monster-hunting organization before she became what she is now—and Aoi came to be formally paired as buddies, and the event that would permanently shape the bond between them. "Homeworld" reaches back further still, thousands of years before the main game's events, to the world of Dernière—a dimension where its inhabitants were blessed with life force energy and extended lifespans, until the day of ruin approached. It follows Aconite Embroche, leader of the Bebel's sixth commando unit, his lieutenant Iris Pumila, and the gifted dollmaker Galega Officinalis as they fight to contain an infection of corrupted life force before it consumes their world entirely.
