Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode5 Heroes

Episode 5 of Phantasy Star Online 2 begins with the player and Matoi attempting to permanently destroy the Profound Darkness by absorbing its host, Persona. The attempt goes wrong: the player is captured and transported to an alternate dimension. After rescuing a young girl, they return to Oracle and meet Alma—the human vessel for the original Klariskrays—who reveals the existence of a black hole containing a realm called Omega. In Omega, the rescued girl introduces herself as Harriet. The corruption spreading through Omega is revealed to be a form of the Profound Darkness called Ephemera, and an ancient prophecy marks the player as the one who can end it. Defeating four Dark Falz hosts across Omega's countries reveals the manipulator behind them—Elmir, who is the successor to Persona and used the heroes to gather essence for Omega itself, an incarnation of the Profound Darkness. Harriet is saved and declared the new goddess of Omega. A subsequent confrontation with Shiva, a Photoner who used the black hole to return from death, ends in defeat before Harriet intervenes—and Shiva escapes.
