About This Game

Led by Prophet Velen, the champions of Azeroth traveled to Argus—the shattered world the Burning Legion calls home—to end their campaign against life once and for all. There they joined the Army of the Light: a force of Lightforged warriors who had spent millennia fighting the Legion across the cosmos, including the legendary paladin Turalyon and ranger-captain Alleria Windrunner. Together they stormed Antorus, the Burning Throne, where they discovered that Sargeras had corrupted not just Argus but the imprisoned Pantheon itself. The heroes freed the titans, who imprisoned Sargeras—appointing Illidan Stormrage as his eternal jailor. In his final act, Sargeras drove his sword into Azeroth, leaving the world-soul wounded in ways no one yet fully understood. The Shadows of Argus World of Warcraft patch storyline.
