About This Game

The second volume of the .hack//G.U. Last Recode HD trilogy follows Haseo further into The World—the fictional online RPG at the center of the series. Players explore monster-populated fields and dungeons, interact with non-combat Root Towns, and log off to a desktop interface with email and message boards that extends the game's social simulation layer. Reminisce introduces the optional Crimson VS card game. Combat pauses when menus are opened; AI companions can be given broad behavioral guidelines or direct commands. The Skill Trigger system allows powerful weapon-specific attacks, and the Rengeki system enables team combination moves when the Morale gauge is charged. Avatar battles with shoot-em-up mechanics and Data Drain finishers handle key story confrontations. Progress carries forward to Volume 3.
