One month before the events of Sonic Forces, Shadow the Hedgehog receives a contact from Rouge the Bat carrying a report from the intelligence division. Episode Shadow is a prequel DLC for Sonic Forces that establishes what Shadow was doing and what he learned in the weeks leading up to the main game's story.
