Japan, year 20XX. The secret criminal society known as Jakou has been expanding its operations, pushing the country into a defensive arms race between private security firms and the government's police and self-defense forces. Both sides have begun deploying mechs, and the resulting battles are destroying cities from the inside. Haruka watched her hometown get leveled years ago and has been determined to answer for it ever since. She joins the public defense corps Toyokumo to pilot their newly-designed machines and dismantle Jakou for good. A mecha action game built around personal revenge inside a systemic crisis.
